I am new to lotus notes I am not able to get the value of text field using a java agent, how to get the text field value from the form any one help me
Please help me and which book gives detail of javaAgents

If by "form" you mean a document opened in the workspace, that is a front-end-element then you cannot access it from Java agents. Only back-end objects are accessible through Notes Java classes. If you talk about back-end objects you can access them via the method getItemValue in the Document class. It returns a Vector object from the Java Collection Classes.
