HoneyJar uses aliases at many places. That means it can log your actions under a different nick than that which you currently "wear". As a default on Netgamers IRC, HoneyJar uses your P-nick as an alias if you are logged in with 'mode x' and use the netgamers host mask, for example //""HoneyJar.users.netgamers.org""//. Doing so, you can use a different nick or tags like |away, |AFK and HoneyJar will still see you under your registered nick.
